Errors using Modified Blogger Templates

If you are getting the following error when you are trying to update/modify your blogger template then chances are that the template code that you are using is not compatible with the "New Drag-and-Drop" layout of blogger.

Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: Content is not allowed in prolog.

In order to use a different blogger template that you may have downloaded from another site, you will have to "Revert to Classic Template". Follow the step by step procedures below:

• Log into your blogger dashboard.
• Click on the "Manage : Layout" link beside your blog name that is displayed.
• Click on "Edit HTML" link.
• Go to the bottom of the page and click "Revert to Classic Templates".

Then Copy-Paste the HTML Template code that you have downloaded, into the textarea and then save & publish to view the changes.
